Paula Moore Memorial Scholarship

Paula Moore was a long-time resident of Seattle, graduating from the University of Washington in 1972. For almost 20 years she was employed by Rainier Bank (later Security Pacific Bank), first in the branch network and later in the personnel division. Her work in developing a management training program was the beginning of Paula's continuing efforts to bring young people into the bank, especially those of color. Paula believed that education was the key to success and encouraged young people to get as much education as possible. For three years, Paula waged a courageous battle against a terminal illness, passing away on July 12, 1992.
